Thursday, June 25th, 2009

DiscountFurnaceFilter.com would like to extend our congratulations to the winner of the $250 Product Review Contest. On June 8, 2009, we sent out an email encouraging customers to submit product reviews on our website. We offered a $50 product coupon for the first 50 reviews and a $250 cash grand prize to the best review as judged by our Staff.

The big winner is……Marcialynn Post from Illinois! Here she is, smiling about her experience with DiscountFurnaceFilter.com and thinking about the $250 check we mailed to her.

Our Happy Contest Winner!

The following is a copy of the product review she submitted for the popular Lennox X6675 MERV 16 filter.

“When we got our new furnace, our local installer encouraged us to buy replacement filters from him. Always out for a better deal, I researched online availability and prices of alternatives, and came to DiscountFurnaceFilter.com. Reading the reviews convinced me to try this supplier instead, and I couldn’t be happier. The product I got [Lennox X6675 filter] was the same original, high-quality equipment replacement filter that I would have gotten locally, but at a 25% savings. Shipping was so fast! And the packaging was secure. Plus, the company was great at communicating with me via email as far as when my product shipped, and I could track the shipment online. I strongly recommend purchasing anything from DiscountFurnaceFilter.com (you cannot go wrong!), and I look forward to being their customer for a long time to come. Thanks, DiscountFurnaceFilter.com!”

Thank you to Marcialynn and all of our wonderful customers for submitting reviews. We appreciate you!

Sincerely,

Got Filters?

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

Have you changed your filters lately?  Your furnace doesn’t ask much of you.  It usually follows orders - gives heat when you need heat and turns off when you tell it to turn off.  All your furnace asks is that you replace the filters on time.

Clogged filters reduce the air flow through your ductwork and cause the furnace to work harder, pull more electricity, and can damage expensive components like the blower motor.  Low air flow can also damage your air conditioning system and cause the indoor evaporator coil to freeze up.

Whatever you do, don’t ignore your filters!  An inexpensive filter replacement now can save lots of expensive repairs later.
